Alles
Wir wussten nie wohin wir gingen
nur wussten wir es nicht
dachten wir könnten
alles
die Losung der Stunde heisst
Demut.
-> Omri Ziegele <- März 2020
Der erhobene Kopf
Wir wollten dem Leben
das Leichte abtrotzen.
Immer wieder warfen
wir die bunten Bälle in den Himmel
und sassen unter
südlichen Sonnen.
Immer wieder tanzten wir
mit den Schmetterlingen
und schauten den hüpfenden
kleinen Mädchen auf den schattigen Plätzen zu.
Aber da war etwas tief
in den Eingeweiden, das rief
uns immer wieder zurück
wenn wir mit roten Backen die Wiesen
herunterrollten, jauchzend vor Glück.
Und nie, nie
haben wir verstanden,
was das ist zwischen den Eingeweiden,
das verhinderte, dass wir je
zu Eingeweihten des Glücks wurden.
So gehen wir weiter,
der erhobene Kopf ist schon viel.

G.O.T.T
hervorschimmert, alten Trost versprechend.
Und du trägst nur noch Hülsen
in deinen verbeulten Taschen:
Technologie, Fortschritt, Machbarkeit, ewiges Vorwärts.
Und du schaust aus deinem verklammerten Gehäuse
und stammelst ein anderes, ein Wort, von dem du dachtest,
dass es längst und für alle Ewigkeiten verstaubt sei:
G.O.T.T.
und schaust in den fernen, den nahen Himmel.

Malcolm Guite - Stations of the Cross
from ‘Sounding the Seasons; seventy Sonnets for the Christian Year, Canterbury Press 2012′
IX Jesus falls the third time
He weeps with you and with you he will stay
When all your staying power has run out
You can’t go on, you go on anyway.
He stumbles just beside you when the doubt
That always haunts you, cuts you down at last
And takes away the hope that drove you on.
This is the third fall and it hurts the worst,
This long descent through darkness to depression
From which there seems no rising and no will
To rise, or breathe or bear your own heart beat.
Twice you survived; this third will surely kill,
And you could almost wish for that defeat
Except that in the cold hell where you freeze
You find your God beside you on his knees.
